Larger teams with many reviewers: Add SimDiff Review (unlimited floating users) to your Workstation package. It's a cost-effective way to let team members explore changes interactively without needing a full Workstation license or even Simulink itself.

Choose the Right SimDiff Edition for Your Team
SimDiff Workstation For engineers who actively compare and merge Simulink models, generate detailed change reports, and create interactive Peer Review files. This is the full-featured edition designed for the people doing the core work.
SimDiff Review Ideal for team members who only need to review and explore changes made by others. Reviewers can load interactive Peer Review files (created with Workstation or Automation) without merging models or requiring a Simulink license. A cost-effective addition for larger review teams.
SimDiff Automation For integrating model differencing directly into your CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.) with automated reporting.
Legacy Editions (Classic and Standard) Still available for existing users with simpler needs. See details below.

Buy Workstation licenses for your core users who perform comparisons and merges.
Add SimDiff Review (unlimited floating) when you have many people who just need to review changes.
Use Automation for automated workflows in your DevOps pipeline.
Tip: SimDiff Review is especially valuable when your reviewer count grows. It avoids the need to give everyone a full Workstation license.
License Types Overview
Named User - One specific person can use SimDiff on multiple computers.
Node Locked - Locked to a single computer.
Workgroup Float (Workstation only) - Shared pool for up to 10 users/computers.
Float (Review) - Unlimited pool of users (term license only).
Float (Automation) - Up to 100 concurrent users (term license only).
License durations:
Perpetual (includes 1 year of maintenance)
1-Year Term (subscription)
During the maintenance or subscription period you are entitled to all major and minor updates as well as e-mail support.
You can purchase additional maintenance for up to 3 months after your maintenance contract expires. To do so, contact an ENSOFT sales representative at sales@ensoftcorp.com; please include your license number in the email if you have it.
All editions of SimDiff come with all standard features, including filtering, graphical view, and conflict detection.
SimDiff supports all major blocksets, including Stateflow, dSPACE blocksets, RTW, Xilinx, and many more.

SimDiff can run on any computer running Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, or 11 or supported versions of Linux.
SimDiff is compatible with all versions of Simulink, including the latest release.

SimDiff is available as an electronic software download. The license cost above does not include media. Media is available for a nominal cost plus shipping and handling.

ISO 26262 Certification
An ISO 26262 TCL1 certified version of SimDiff is available upon request for an additional fee. The only difference between the normal version of SimDiff and the ISO 26262 TCL1 version of SimDiff is a documentation paragraph advising you to test models before using them in a production vehicle.

Legacy Editions
We have adjusted our standard product line up to better fit how organizations use SimDiff in the context of DevOps platforms, but we still offer our legacy products to customers who haven’t shifted to DevOps yet.
SimDiff Workstation (formerly SimDiff Team) differences and merges Simulink models and generates a detailed change report or Peer Review file for interactive exploration and visualization of the differences.
SimDiff Classic (formerly SimDiff Professional) differences Simulink models and generates a detailed change report or Peer Review file for interactive exploration and visualization of the differences.
SimDiff Standard differences Simulink models, more quickly and accurately than any other diff tool on the market.
