XCSG Compendium
How Atlas represents your code: the Extensible Common Software Graph, from control flow to interprocedural flows.
XCSG, the Extensible Common Software Graph, is the schema Atlas uses to represent a codebase. Every artifact Atlas mines is a node or an edge in that graph, so a query over XCSG is an analysis of the program.
- XCSG Compendium: Introduction. What a tag is, the node and edge roots, and the attributes every artifact carries.
- XCSG Compendium — Control Flow. Statements, conditions, and loops, and the queries that build a control flow graph.
- XCSG Compendium — Data Flow. How a value moves from one memory location to another, including assignments, operators, pointers, and arrays.
- XCSG Compendium — Interprocedural Flows. Calls between functions, and the data that moves through parameters, return values, and global variables.
